There are some Indian reservations around here in Utah, and I was wondering if anyone knows the laws about detecting on them?

Permission would have to come from the tribal government.   As a general rule, most tribes don't give it.   And you do NOT want to be caught metal detecting or digging on an indian reservation without a permit.
