I have narrowed my search down to several areas and now need a contract to use when I get
permission from land owners.

NE 1 here can share a good copy of a contract with me?

Thanks in advance.

There is very little reason to use one.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

problem with contracts=only as good as the people that sign them,i shook hands with a home owner whos yard i hunted,50/50 till i showed him some silver coins and a silver ring(which wasn't his but he liked it)...............he took it all Angry.............and if you do ask them to sign it,RED FLAGS right away, they start thinking, just maybe theres a cache or something more on the land and no deal.............then you have the people who are just nice and say "go ahead and enjoy"....its just a crapshoot

As GD said in most cases there is no reason for one. I have hunted 100's if not 1000's of places with permission of the land owner and only signed maybe 3 or 4 contracts. If the owner thinks that there is a cache there he is not likely to let you hunt anyway, if he has no knowledge of it why enlighten him.
If you are only looking to hunt homesteads for coins and relics many owners will not sign a contract because in some states it makes them liable if you are hurt or killed.
Check with a local lawyer and he can tell you what you need in your state.

I guess I will just take my chances and ask to look around for old relics of the past......
