He's going to pay far more than his fine when he has to fork over money to his lawyer and pay court costs on top of all of that. The worst thing about all this is he only had to convince a judge initially. Now he has to convince 12 people who might just be a lot smarter than he thinks they are.

He's not very smart about this, really. He just had to pay the fine and then appeal after the fact. Then he wouldn't be facing serious issues like he is.

I think bad judgement has plagued this guy from the start. Showing up in court and just explaining to the judge could have gotten it all thrown out. Annoy a judge and he will take your money, and maybe your time. I know your right gd. Talked to the judge more than once myself. Sometimes just a call to the guys commander could have cleared this up. He would know exactly what they ticketed him for, and why.

Who is congratulating who on what, as I said before you still do not comprehend what this thread is about. The law was broken we are trying to make the point that this is not how to handle things. Several of you condone braking the law to make a point which is wrong in so many ways. This thread will go on with out you because its is important to treasure commodity as a whole.

I'm putting a [stop] to this discussion now and it makes me feel sorry to see how good fellows are attacking each other.

Please stay polite and reasonable towards each other. Nobody has to agree with eachother but this doesn't mean to make to turn things into a cyber brawl. If one does have a different oppinion on something so be it. Free speech here ... however the keyword and goal remains FRIENDLY in the first place. TSK, TSK, TSK to you to GD, you have in effect tarred and feathered a man before he has his day in court.  You are indicating a government supremasist attitude, i.e. whatever the government is right and we should kneel before the government and thank them for their benevolence.  POPPYCOCK!!!  The government serves at our sufference and this particular iteration will be given the boot and hopefully it's new version will set about correcting the abuses of this one.
