As a landowner, I sure wouldn't sign that. As a treasure hunter, I wouldn't put that forward either. Make it revocable by either side at will and you have a much better document.

Making it so the detectorist only can revoke the document is just over the edge of reason. Seriously. I stopped reading after that. That single sentence was a deal breaker for this property owner.

in this permission slip if I read it correctly.

The statements on the permission slip appear to be the land owner speaking & laying out the agreed upon terms in this contract of permission to the holder of the document; but I agree with "GoldDigger" that it could be tweaked and made more plauseible for both the metal Detectorist & the owner.

I reply here to this older thread, only because it's about that (time of the season again) and things like this should be in the T'Hunters mind ahead of the hunt to help avoid any problems that could arise, especially in the event of a find.
