Not by Congress.

Not willingly by the current members of Congress.
Is the Army and the Navy on the web site in any way or form?   How old is the Army and the Navy branches? What duties do the two branches have?

Still no one knows all the 'Tools' that could come out of this if there are many millions of people giving input ideas.

Basically to serve and protect the United States of America under the Orders of the Commander and Chief.  Congress is NOT their Boss.

Actual  Roles they play in doing so is no longer defined.  Historically they all had a specialized role.   No Longer.  The Air Force did just that Worked the Skies.  The Navy the Seas. The Marines as part of the Navy interfaced between Sea and Land.  The Army ,  Just that.  Now days they all Fly Planes. They All have boots on the ground in conflict.  They All have Intelligence  Gathering.  They All Have Space Programs. They All  support the Land, Sea and Air Triad of Defense.  As for Ages of the Branches I think the Army was first Navy Second Splitting into Two Branches and the Air Force was born out of the Army's Air Core.   The youngest for sure.

The Convention of the States like the Second Amendment is a Final Line of Defense set in place for We the People to protect us from a Tyrannical  or Our of Control Government.

Excellent points Homefire now you are catching on to the fact that president Trump is asking for input of "reasonable suggestions" for setting up the foundation for the Convention of the States as well as 'Prime directives for any and all Agencies'.  Yes this could be a starting point or 'Stepping stone'.  Depends on the millions of minds out there.
If this one is correct the Army and Navy have a history before the forming of the Constitution of the United States of America.   Wise Great Wink

First it was the Militia.  Then the Continental Army Followed by the Navy and Marine both in 1775.  Before our break away in 1776.

Yep can't take that history off the 'Books' can you......LOL  Wise Wise
The duties are still there.  Maybe there are a few out there that can look up more details within the "Military manuals"?
Feel free to go the the web page and make some 'Reasonable suggestions'.  Idea

Yes this one feels the same.  Shocked  However all the 'Spam' should be directed towards President Trumps administration first before you and I.  No need to 'Address any spam' as the idea is for "reasonable suggestions" to the President.

I did 22 years. Started in Vietnam (2 tours) finished up during Desert Shield. Retired in 1991. Would do it all again today but only if I got my afternoon nap.

Thank you for your service GoldDigger 1950.  Great  You may have run into a few service men who really read some of the military manuals.  If so please send them this information and link now as time may be running out.
This one signed up for the Vietnam Draft just before the war ended.  Lost some friends over there.
Thank you for reading with a open mind.  Wink
