Go Up Go Down

I've always wanted to explore Fremont island.  back in the pioneer days there was a guy shot and killed by porter rockwell.  when some people went to see the body one last time before he was buried, they found him naked in his casket.  they went to the undertakers house and found that he had all of the clothes of the people he was burying, he had been stealing from the dead.  he was brought before brigham young and the public demanded he be hanged.  brigham young said that death wasn't a cruel enough a punishment; so they tattooed "banished for stealing from the dead." onto this guys forehead, cut his ears off, and rowed him out to Fremont Island, and left him there.  i imagine he, (just like john C. Fremont did) carved his name into a rock or something, or lived primitively like the Indians had to, in the rocks of the island.  the last name of this guy that was banished was Bishop

Ewwwww... gross! However, what I'd like to find out where his horde of coins were that he's gathered over the years.

this guy was left earless, and pennyless on the shores of the island....left to fight and fend for himself against mother nature.  but i guarantee he lived in a rock outcropping or cave, or carve his name somewhere.  but as far as gold goes.....this guy had everythin he had takenaway from him.
