I have heard of Blackbeard's treasure being buried in Northern New York. Has anyone else heard this?

Legend: Blackbeard hid buried treasure somewhere:
Fact: Sorry. This legend persists anywhere Blackbeard ever spent significant time, such as North Carolina or New Providence. In reality, pirates rarely (if ever) buried treasure. The myth comes from the classic story Treasure Island, which incidentally features a pirate character named Israel Hands, who was Blackbeard's real-life boatswain. Also, much of the loot that Blackbeard took consisted of things like barrels of sugar and cocoa which would be worthless today had he buried them.

alot of ppl think he buried treasure on ocracoke but most of it is owned by the park service so it is off limits with a metal detector if it's in ocracoke there aren't many places too look so i'm doubtful there's any thing there when they captured his boat they found nothing but when they found his boat off of beaufort nc they found some gold dust but the boat off of beaufort is not the boat he died on off of ocracoke that boat was called the adventurer and they have not found that yet.
