While at my son's house, basicially just across the road from the Malpais pictured, and it joins with other lava fields, and goes on for many many miles, we did exploring, but had to be careful of holes in the lava, it would look solid and then there were large holes, some had signs posted that they were a mile or longer under ground, i checked a few out, SCARY, bats, bears, and whatever, did go up Mt Taylor, it is 11,000 ft or so, couldn't get past bout 10,000 ft, snow and ice, in summertime, found meteorite in Indian Charlies yard, my Guide and later friend, a Navajo, about 79 yr old, very interesting, man, has kept everything he has found all his life, from dinosaur dung, to petrified heads,
more later, oh yeah that's me playin? with my son's dogs, the little one is a 90 lb rottweiler
