Hello All

Here is an article of treasure being recover by a dredge on the Pasig River on 27 January 1900.

Gee it is sure quite here where are our Philippine friends I can here crickets chirping. Oh that's right their out there following each others hearsay and BS chasing rainbows?

Hardluck

Good leads, Hardluck. A word to those who are considering exploring the Pasig for treasure: I once meandered around the MacArthur bridge which spans that river. It was a boring Sunday afternoon with not much to do till Monday. Watched the black murky waters swirl by, saw a dead pig float alongside lots of trash and I wished it bon voyage. The bouquet of aromas emanating from the waters was most pungent.

Mind you, there is a program to rehabilitate the Pasig, but I'd have to have a barge with dredge or be dead broke and desperate before I'd want to muck about in that cesspit of filth. Yuckyuckyuckky!
