 Teach That's correct, the Treaty of the Peace of Vereeniging was signed at Melrose House, Pretoria on May31.1902. My story takes place after that.

Then your story is not about the Boer war but rather the aftermath of the Boer war if your story starts in 1903. Still a good idea to write some fiction about the Boer war and especially about the Kruger treasure as long as you send them all on a false trail LOL I'd hate to see 20,000 people coming to South Africa dinging up the freeways and the highways and the byways for nothing.

If you did then you will know that there is no Kruger millions, I've said this before and I'll say it again the only gold that there is to be found is in the old farms, hidden during the war by the Boers before going to the front.
