Golden I never thought that Victorio peak held the Padre mine or gold cache but many have tried to tie them together over the years. But you also know that I don't think there every was much gold at Victorio peak.

I'm pretty much with Seldom on this one.   I think Victorio is overblown and overpublicized and that the Lost Padre has been overlooked.    If I were to spend my time looking for one or the other, the Lost Padre would be my choice.   But I've got other fish to fry.

(but to put things in perspective, if you told me I HAD to spend the rest of my days chasing the secret of Victorio Peak or chasing the secret of the "Lost" Dutchman, I'd be all in for Victorio Peak.)

BA

Home's if I was that close I would do some research and have a look around.

Victorio peak and Doc is a good story but over the years Eva add many rumors, lies, BS what ever you wish to call it that the truth of what Doc found will never be known. Later the conspiracy nuts got on the band wagon and blow it way out of proportion.

Somewhere around 1960, US Army created White Sands Missile Base.
