Hello Alfieboy

Thanks for the complement but a thread is not a successful one if others do not the discuss or contribute to the topic. No fun hearing myself waffle on to an empty room. Grin I think there is more scope to take this topic a little further. Huh?

Anyone?

Hardluck

Oroblanco,  thanks for all the great input.   Personally, I would a lot rather spend my time looking for the Waggoner than for the Lost Dutchman.   There's a lot less competition.  Of course, if I wanted to be really devious, I could tell people I was looking for the Lost Dutchman.  Your last set of questions is a very good one.   Is it a case of misdirection or a key clue?

  Hello All,
I just been over this tread again for a refresher. Looking for rose quarts that may have broken off from the main reef and then tracing it back to the main load, could be one idea to help solve this mystery. Finding some rose quarts, would make it interesting.
Going from memory the names Charles & Richard come to mind! Another thing, is that he maybe of german decent? Wagner would be pronounced Vagner!! Sorry nothing solid
but thought id put it out in case it may be of help.

Hola amigos,

Just wanted to add, that Barry Storm found a beautiful piece of rich gold ore in (if memory serves) La Barge canyon, which he included a photo of in a book he wrote.  The ore looked to me like it might be from Wagoner's ledge, but Barry was more interested in the Dutchman so assumed it had to be from Waltz's mine.  I will check my source and correct what I said here when I get a bit more time.

Good luck and good hunting amigos, I hope you find the treasures that you seek.
Oroblanco
