If this site is so low on your list then why even bother with us at all...I just offered what I have, no more no less and If thats not what your looking for then fine...I won't loose any sleep over this thats for sure.  Contact a Large Commercial Diving Company and see what they say...I'm pretty sure you already know the answer to that ..Cheesy...Just sounds like a scam to me now so as they say "Go For It Yourself"...You should have all the money you need next spring after returning with your truckload of treasure from the southwest venture your heading on now so just buy a boat when you get back and Go to Commercial Diving School then outfit yourself with dive gear, a compressor, side scan sonar and anything else that you feel you need and Git R Done...Smiley

ToolBoxDiver:
Perhaps you don't understand the "Tone" of the "post"!
So!
Let me clarify it:
I am already committed, by making arrangements, contacts & etc..
For this upcoming trip!
Which I am planning 12 months OR longer!
I certainly hope that you are aware of the logistics involved in trip of that LENGHT!
I "posted" the Article because I know how long it would take to :
1..To get any serious replies
2..For me to make another trip to Archives in Washington, to get the Proof/factual documents
2..draw up a "contract" that is agreeable to all parties
3..Present the documents to prove my story!
4..To start gathering personnel and equipment
5..To set a time/date when everyone is available!
6....And! So ON!
As you know, anything u/w is not going to be found on "Day One"
"Week One" or even "Month One"!
Remember!, it took "Fisher" 10 Yrs!
AND! This is not to be taken as meaning the site will take that long
But!
I am sure, that as a "salver" , You Know!!!!
If you don't plan on this kind of scenario, you'd just haven't been out there in the field/seas looking for something!
I can guarantee this will not be a week end trip
Where you.....
Boat out to the site, suit up, jump in, find the treasure, pick it up and go home!
Pure Fantasy!
But!
There are people out there who actually believe it!
I have had several on trips with me!
Here's a Favorite quote ...
"This is a lot of work! I didn't think it would take this long!"
From a guy who spent  four  WHOLE  days in the field w/me looking for a LARGE Spanish Cache in Southern Arizona!
He actually, packed up and left ...
Both Me'n Dog standing there watching his dust!   Undecided
He claimed to be a TH'er Too!    Cool
SURE! HE! WAS!    Grin
In his dreams, maybe!
AS far as getting a Commerical Salvage Company...
Know any "Honest Ones" ?
Who after finding out about the Treasure...won't "Blow Me Off"
And! Head out for themselves!
Remember, This is no! little couple of thousand dollar site!
100s of millions, in Gold/Money! Do & Will  Change People !
If you doubt , this, go to the Doc Noss, aka, White Sands Treasure Site
OR!
Buy the BOOK... "1oo Tons of Gold"
And See how, THIS! (Gold)
YOUR! Own Govt robs, kills and steals!

Toolboxdiver:

You say in your "post/reply" that you think my "Largest US"..."Treasure site" is a "Scam"
Just What do you base that on?   Grin

Well!
Then...
Kindly do me a 'favor" and tell me how this "scam" works!
Since...
I have not, in fact, I have already, stated,
I do not want any money  "Up Front" or otherwise!
AND! I will put this statement, in B/W and in Public...
That," I will never ask for any" !
"For any purpose" !
So!
Then! With that "stated"!
And Stated,  in B/W and In/or on a Public Forum....
  Just !    Tell me...
How is this "Scam" supposed to work ?   Huh?
I sure can't figure it out!   Wink
How?  :Smiley

Hey Bill, this is Randy Wright from that "other forum". I don't have any equipment, but would be more than happy to join you, and do as much of the work as I can. I have a lot of free time Smiley

I'm still up for the other thing we talked on the phone about too.

Hi Randy:
I'm trying to get out your way in the next few weeks....In fact, I have to make a "run" into town to pick up some Jeep Parts that I had to order!
It's a gitt'n hard to buy parts for the '77!
I hope that is will be the "Last!"
I am installing a 4x2 conversion kit, to allow me a selectable 2wd, instead of the present FULL TIME 4X4  & it's 11 mpg!
Then,
I won't be working on the U.S. Biggie, until I get to some of these other sites, in Az/NM/Ca., etc, that are, FAR! more accessable and I won't have to buy all of that new equipment for !

The So. Az., Spanish Silver Cache is number Two on my site this trip!
If! I can come up with enough help..Security/campsitters, etc !
Do You Think, That there might be...

Smiley  ANY! Volunteers out there ?     Grin

Dear Mr. Toolboxdiver:
SIR!
Don't fall into that mindset...of "Assuming" that ...   Grin
Your "reply" assumes that I don't have diving experience !
I have open water certification, have "dove" in the Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, Gulf of Lower CA., Pacific (So. Ca & Hawaii) , Sea of Japan...
I am a Cert. Rescue Diver, with lots of experience in "cave diving" in No. Fla.
When I was stationed in Camp LeJuene, USMC, During my 30 months break from Vietnam, I was a SCUBA Instructor!
The only reason I don't have Commercial Experience is, That I don't like to mix , business with pleasure!

However,
I did, at one time, consider going to a "Commercial (Hard Hat)Dive School" on
The GI Bill!

BUT!
Sir!
I DO! HAVE MANY! DECADES of DIVING EXPERIENCE!
IN! Caves, oceans, The Mighty Mississippi/Tenn. Rivers, (looking for Civil War Relics..(WHERE!, as you know! There! Is "O" visibility!)
also, various other, rivers, swamps (La.!) sink holes, etc!
I began diving, in CA., @ Dana Pt., back when we had to build our own equipment !
That!,
If you'r an Old Timer (Diver), gives you a clue, as to just how long   I ! have been diving!

well this all sounds very interesting, always could ask for time off work to assist here, but would be a bit, as im just now getting back in the treasure hunting, etc, but would offer assistance from this end, depending on length of stay,etc...gregg

What reply?Huh?  I never assume anything...I just offered to help and all you do is bust peoples stones.  I think you are the one doing the assuming here, I dive because I love to and I also dove in the Marine Corps Devil Dog.

Hi Dell:

How's it been going ?
I have yet to get to that site in NM., that photo that I sent to you... Remember?
About the time that I got your reply, my New Mexico Partner Died,
of a heart attack that summer !
I have yet to check out that cave and the cache that's there!
I, am thinking that on this trip, I can swing by and see what's in there!
We'll share the Treasure !
BUT!
No Sir!
This treasure is SOLID CASH!
It was worth millions when it sank and with today's current evaluation/worth...
It is Now ! Into Roughly, A BILLION !
Are you still living in Florida ?
If SO!
Do you know any Trustworthy Salvors down there ?
I'd like to recover this, if I can!
It may be SOME! Time before I can actually get the time to get back down that way!!
