This story is far too interesting to lock without a good reason.  As for where it belongs, a case could be made for either here in legendary treasures or in treasure leads.   With so little truly solid information, I think this is probably the best place for it.   But who knows, the wizards of thunting.com might just turn this into a solid set of leads.

I think you might be right , found an old newspaper talking of a few divers heading out into the bay after a few chests in early 1900`s , perhaps not linked but adds another path to follow , and  also that the Duke of Argyll  had an interest in an expedition via another piece of news.
