I am thinking No. I have been to where they say rodman school was. now there is a farm house there. I went to Harrisonville Library and got a map of the town and surrounding area witch is the first map of this area  and it cooper school as to what people are calling Rodman school. now in 1930 they was putting in a bridge close to Harrisonville. and they say is where the massacre took  place.I did some research and what I could find is there was 3 bridge built in 1930 one of them is south of Harrisonville , and there was a school by there that was called Belle Plain school. and there is a creek to the left of it that has a fork . I went out there also really don't know what to look for but it don't look like that's the place. The reason I say that there is house on both sides of the road. and some farm land. with building all that you would think somebody would of found it. The letter says the crossed the stream 3 times. you would cross the stream at least 10 times to get this far. so I'm at a lost now.
sorry to just jump in to your chat. but I live in Harrisonville. and could be a big help

Welcome to the forum.   The last post before yours was back in 2011.  The folks in the Conversation do not seem to be active on the forum any more.  Using the information you have it may be beneficial to use GooGle Earth to look over the area and Terrain.  Most photo's available on google are at least a few years old but that no problem for what your trying to do.  Between old maps and the aerial views you may see something not available to see in car or map.

Just thinking
