No, Knight used the Kidd/Palmer charts which are fake - and he was a good story teller.

O I and most here agree that the Palmer charts are fake not sure where I heard about the family map but sure its all BS also. Like you said Knight was a great story teller.

Most stories about Captain Kidd are untrue.  But, I do believe that the good captain bury treasures on Charles Island, which is own by the state, off Milford Connecticut Shores.  Good luck.
