The Panamints are now a BLM Wilderness, and off-limits to any prospecting/ searching activities.

AS you might be aware this, Turning areas into Wilderness" has become The Govt's tactic for placing areas of mineral/treasure, off limits to the average person!
I can show you small, 3 mi x 1 1/2m, insignificant areas where they have done this!
The only reason is to keep
[size=14] US OUT![/size]
This is becoming an all too often tactic ...
AND!
WHY!
Because it is working!

I normally camp, as close as I can get, then WALK! Tongue

in!

I believe that only a portion of the Panamint Mnt. Range is The "Wilderness Area" !
