Its all good LOL Like I have never highjacked a thread.

Funny. It's as if we are sitting around a campfire drinking nasty coffee while letting the conversation drag us around the world.

I personally think there was a rush on the bank and lots of paper exchanged for hard money but that is just my opinion. If and when the other Fl. cache is found that includes Davies papers many questions will be answered.

You have one? That's the second thing to go when you get old.

The first? Nobody can remember what that is.

I think a lot of the hard money probably went to the blockade runners to pay for supplies. They wouldn't have taken anything they couldn't use on foreign shores I wouldn't think.

Hello All

It would not suprise me like with all conficts some soldiers engaged in some private looting and being of small private caches buried around the countryside many never being recovered.
