Seldom..... Not to go off topic,,, but you hunt the Gulf at night!!!! Yikes. If I tried that over in Venice, I'd be a few bones on the beach by Sharkys (local bar on the beach). Some of the sharks I've seen them catch off the jetty at night are down right scary... Undecided

Mud if they going to get you they going to get you. Just a few days ago someone pulled in a 700 pd bull shark surf fishing next to the state park one of my best holes. When the mullet are running I stay out of the water thats the only time I have had trouble with them.

Yes gambol that's the one! I have been looking for a detailed map of that area from around the Civil War because in that sort of environment it could very easily have looked totally different, but no luck as of yet. Also, if you are interested I'd suggest googling Juan Gonzalez and reading the story on him.
