Back in the late 1970's a house blow up in Appleton Texas killing the owner because of a gas leak. The guy who lived in the house was a mid level drug dealer. Within weeks of the explosion rumors started that he had buried several pvc pipes stuffed with cash and jewelery. During the 80's 3 pipes were reported dig up on this property and 2 more were found at house he owned on Lake Livingston.
This kind of hunting can be very profitable but also very dangers,

Halfdollar.... Maybe your on to something. Those folks used to party all summer at their mansions in Newport, RI.    Maybe we ought to head over there  Shocked     I'm sure they will let us on the propertys  Wink
They would move all their silverware, dishes, etc there every summer by rail from NYC and stay a month or so and head back home!!!  Bet the lawns are loaded........
