Found & Returned

I received an email earlier this week from a lady in Agassiz named Helen. She asked if we find certain items that have been lost? I said yes we do and what is it that you have lost? Helen told me she had a lost a watch she likes, not very valuable but still one she likes very much. I said no problem, asked a few more questions and with Sharon Giguere and Linda Sexsmith with me we set out to find Helen's watch. After a brief tour of where the watch may be, the 3 of us started the search. After all of 3 minutes, Sharon gets a hit and lo and behold if it isn't the watch in question. That was quick! Helen was gracious enough to let us do a bit more hunting and Linda found a 1957 penny and then Helen told us about a gold earring she had lost a few weeks earlier. She showed us the approximate area and we started to hunt, unfortunately it started to POUR rain and we had to call it a night, but what a night.
Congratulations to Sharon for finding the watch.
Thank you to Helen for contacting the club AND, there is a possibility of the club going back this fall and doing a search once the corn is out of the field. I will keep you all posted on that one.
So a big THANK YOU to Helen, Sharon and Linda. Lets do it again some time.
