Go Up Go Down

Back in 1990-91 time, I lost my class ring around the Denton, Texas area.  I left my belongings with a mother of some kids that offered to watch them for me until I found a stable place to live.  When I returned about a month later to pick up my belongings she refused to let me have them.  When I pressed the issue her older boy attacked me.  When I was leaving that boy hit me over the head with a tree branch.  Thankfully I had a motorcycle helmet on when it happened.  I lost many treasured items that day, but the one thing I miss the most is my class ring.  My name was engraved on it "Anna Newton" and it was from Lincoln Park High School.  It was I believe valadium with a peridot stone.  It had the railsplitter symbol on one side (axe cutting into a log) and I believe drama faces on the other side.  I think it was a size 9.  The Lincoln Park High School it came from is in Michigan.  If anyone can help, I would be forever grateful.
Thank you,
Anna

Do you have any clue as to were you could have lost it?

Was it in the Belongings?   If so, How would anyone possibly find it?

Go Up Go Down

I only remember that I was outside of Dallas.  My last address in Texas was in Garland.  I traveled a lot between Garland, Denton & Sanger.  Unfortunately I was quite transient during that time.  That is why I trusted this family to keep my belongings safe until I found stable housing.
It was in the belongings, but since it was 20 years ago and the family didn't seem to care about the belongings they had, I am hoping it either got sold or dropped somewhere.  I even had a stone and mineral collection in the belongings which included a 1" watermelon tourmaline with a circumference of about 1/2".  When I bought it, I only paid about $5, now you can only imagine the worth, but I would assume that stuff was probably sold.
I am just putting all feelers out there, I have overcome a lot of problems from the past, but I never quite got over this one.  I always wonder what happened to those belongings.  The belongings consisted of some clothing, stone & mineral collection, some gold and silver stone jewelry.
Thanks,
Anna

Likely it was pawned. You might get lucky if your ever in the area and can check pawn shops. What with metal prices today it's more likely smelted down and gone. If a MD found it again it would likely be in acollection or sold...

Sorry but time works against a lot of us in different ways Cry

I understand, I just wanted to get as many feelers out there as I could, just in case it still exists.
