I saw a guy up to his armpits in very minor waves. More like midget swells. He was running a Surfmaster w/ weighted coil and a tether and no tether on his long handled 12" SS scoop. Let go of the scoop handle and in an instant it just fell over. He spent the next 2 hours looking for it.... and finally found it. It's amazing how fast something can disappear even a large handled scoop!!
