Don't look like NE 1 replied to your post....maybe you have given up or already found the loot.

IF you still looking, get a aerial photo of the area this rock came from.....It looks like a Map, with arrow showing North and a river along the
bottom of the rock map.  You need to see if you can line up with topo and aerial photo of area this rock came from.

A good book to research in to learn how to read rock maps is "The Rocks Begin to Speak"   Excellant book!

Hello, thanks for the response. There is indeed a river on the east side. The map, as I was told, was found upside down. You mentioned the arrow to be pointing north, but since the river is on the east side, should they be digging going south? They've found other signs like a shoe, a y, a figure like hat... there are also some dots (small circles) on the map, are they the objects?

Hello, I will need to verify about the river location. The original river was on the west side (from the oldies) but I am not sure when it was diverted to the east side. Thanks!

         Just ordinary rock..very common to me..look at those lines..you need to find the real one..
         If there is.. in that site..dont give a wonderful meaning those stone that you been found..
          It cost you a lot..for nothing......happy hunting my friend..

Kinda interesting looking marks on the rock. Try research the area/ ask the old timers...
