Dear friend,
near my house were dug in tens of boxes with unknown things in.I happened at the very end of WW 2 when local german soldiers went to US captivity. My  wittness still lives..
It took me three years to find 2 different sites where these boxes are dug in somewhere around. What i found are carved tree marks plus very special tree either the species or with a treecrown trimmed. No doubt it was made by these soldiers for later identification..Signs are aways combined with X marks.Firs picture with a box with a dot inside has 5 X above, you can see a very unusual type of tree for our woods-yew tree nearby. In the second picture you can see adifferent site with a  tree mark with just 1 X beside plus specialy trimmed oak nearby
May I ask you for your help to crack these marks?
   Thank you! Wink
 Petr
 Sorry for my English! Shocked

On my target site I also seen various types of carved markings such as face of a man,a box inside a box,a letter look like a J, a circle, an arrow sign, and an x mark.I also have in my position until now a map which is given by my grandmother who passed away 5 years ago and according to her it was from my grandfather who is a former japanese asset during WWII.in the drawing there is a big cross,in the right side under the cross there is a triangle, theres  a lady like in praying position, beside on it theres a circle, there are also a letter C,S, A and a blured letter E. anyone can help me or suggest any opinion about on what I have in my position.thank you.

Hi Bungols,
thank you for your reply, just do not know why to look for a marker in the center of THREE trees forming a triangle when we can see a SQUARE?
 Cheers
