The University of Reno and WM Keck Earth Sciences and Mining Research Information Center has made tons of information and Maps available for free to the public. This covers Nevada and some of the surrounding border states.

Ooooo that's great! I found sites to download digital topo maps for free but carrying around a laptop would be just a tad cumbersome while detecting.  Wink
