This is a collection of pictures of a Mysterious inscription that I
discovered on a rock outcropping near my home.
Any kind of insight or information about it would be greatly appreciated.
I welcome any questions or dialogue: longster23@gmail.com

Hello longster23

 Welcome

For anyone to help you we need more clearer pictures of the letters.

It would also be helpful to know which country the mysterious inscription is in.

A nice run down of the history of the area that it is in, would help of course.

I think your site is great and think maybe you could give me some insight into this enigmatic message.

The person that may have made this also carved amazing statues that are seemingly masonic in influence.

Hello Longster23

First, Baughman Park is located on private property. Therefore, you should try to get permission before going there. Should you choose to visit without getting permission, you do so at your own risk.

The statues at Baughman Park were carved by Brice Baughman, a local undertaker in Muskingum County. He started carving statues in the rocks located on his father's property when he was a child in the 1880's. Most of the carvings are animals or human faces.

In 1898, Brice Baughman's father opened a sandstone quarry. This provided him with quarried stone to practice with. He then started to carve large statues of famous people in American history. The first statue he carved was President William McKinley (in 1898), and the last was President Warren G. Harding (in 1927). Thousands of people came to see his statues. He never charged an admission for people to visit the park. The park was officially dedicated as "Baughman Memorial Park" in 1931, by Ohio Governor Vic Donahey.

When Brice Baughman was no longer able to care for the park, it sat abandoned for many years. It was then sold, and was owned by a couple different people. One owner planned to turn it into a campground, but unfortunately he became ill and the idea was abandoned. Some of the old campground buildings still stand though. Several of the statues were damaged by vandalism while the park was abandoned, but they are all still standing.

Some of the symbols he carved as masonic in style but may not have any relevance to a masonic loge at all or to a treasure.

The ill defined carving on the rock face may not even be related at all to Brice Baughman.

However If you can possibly send a more clearer picture. There might be some thing else I can tell you.

Hardluck  Cool

Go Up Go Down

I'm in Newark, Ohio, U.S.A. Newark is home to the largest geometric earthwork complex in the world, built over 2000 years ago and aligned to the 18.6 year northern-most lunar position.

I think there is a lot we do not know about our ancestors.

My Great Grandfather left me a strange coin which I came to find out has ancient Hebrew inscribed on it.He said he found it when he was young.
There were also found in some mounds in 1800's the "Newark Holy Stones" or "Decalogue Keystones" which has Hebrew and depicts Moses holding 10 commandments.

The authenticity of the stones and of my coin are questionable but to me it is a lot of coincidence and still quite intriguing.

Coin identical to mine that was found in Kentucky mounds along with hebrew "Grave Creek Stone":  http://www.econ.ohio-state.edu/jhm/arch/barkokhb.htm
Nice research you are correct about Baughman Park although a little outdated.Unfortunately all the statues were auctioned off one by one and removed I did have permission and got video, pics, and gps coordinates of all the statues the week before the auction.

Here maybe these pics will give a better idea.
