Hello, Everyone,

Is it possible I've found a mine shrine?

On a giant redrock wall, I found an alcove.

The only things around were shadow faces.

There is a bell on the bottom right corner.

if you stood back about 30 to 40 feet and watched how the shadow in the alcove changed i wonder if it would maybe point you in a direction or give up a clue. Just a thought would probably have to spend a whole day there

gorgias,
In your first photo you can see (when the pic is blown up) some lettering on the left side of this opening.  There is the letter "A," a "U," "C" and an abstract "5."  Below these letters is a sideways bell (laying on its right side).  The right leg of the "A" makes contact with this bell through rock incorporation.  The left leg of this "A" makes contact with other naturally occuring "knobs" in the rock face that are giving you more information to this particular site.
The face that you outline is pointing you to an accumulation room.  This face has an eye that is telling you to "look" in "this direction," with the nose telling you of a "breathing hole," or pozo, which you will find when you get to the proper location.  There are signs and symbols here that lead to at least two seperate locations, possibly more.
I don't believe that this is a mine shrine, but was probably more of a temporary living quarters.  This tunnel opening is also letting you know that, if you are successful at interpreting these signs and symbols that "you will find tunnel openings," whether it be a pozo or the main opening.
The face on the right side of the tunnel is pointing in one direction, the "A" on the left side is pointing in seperate direction.  The bell is "cut in half" and this may mean to "go half of the distance given in order to locate this treasure room."  All of these signs (in your first photo) appear to locate accumulation rooms, but it's possible that these treasure rooms are located inside of a mine, or mines.
This is a really cool site, thanks for sharing it!!!!

Those that know treasure signs and symbols know two things to be fact: #1) there is ALWAYS death traps at these sites, whether they be mines or treasure rooms, and #2) those that know the truth would NEVER visit the site you mention.
