"Or,,, someone might be missing your sweetheart!"

yeah, they might be....but not if that marking is as old as you guys think it is (and as I tend to agree)....But facts are most marks on rocks and trees have NOTHING to do with treasure---and no matter how hard you want them to, it just doesn't change the meaning.   At least this one is legitimately man made.

"but why would there be turkey tracks on the same bluff in the same kinda condition"....A) you're assuming the turkey tracks and the heart in the box were made at the same time and by the same person.  There's no real reason do that as anyone who has spent any time studying pictographs in Arizona and New Mexico can attest to....once they've been out there a while, they can all look to have been made about the same time
and ....B)maybe the guy who was missing his sweetheart was out hunting turkey  Hello....I mean why did cavemen paint deer on the walls of caves?

What I did was give a legitimate possible interpretation for the carving as described and as shown in the photograph.   I did not mock your interpretation, but you basically belittled mine even though in the course of human history I dare say there have been more hearts carved in more places that fit my interpretation than yours.    And yet because my interpretation does not fit what you want the carving to mean, you automatically discount my alternative explanation.

Choctaw, your name gives it away. I think I know your area. I would say look at some old maps, and see if there was a trail through there.

Also, if there was any treasure associated with that mark, it would be buried in the sides of a creek. The odds of you actually finding any treasure such as the James Gang would be like winning the lottery.

Since this is supposed to be a cache type treasure. You need more information. Very hard to pinpoint down a few straglers.

Why do you believe this is a KGC mark? I am curious as to your source.

I like the research as much as finding stuff. But the information available is troublesome. Meaning, be careful.

Like I said in the headline  possible kgc marking I mean I really have no clue I have never seen a box with a heart in it and turkey tracks near by and you are right there is a creek the same direction the tracks are pointing  I just would like to find out what it is suppose to mean
