Choctaw were any of the toes on those turkey tracks significantly longer or curved than the others ? Was I right about being able to go to the opposite side of that rock ? 180 around the bend?

Hey, choctaw, I didn't take offense (if I had I would have said something about the Aggie that moved to Oklahoma  Smiley  )...but I did inadvertently leave out a couple of Spanish expeditions into Oklahoma that I knew about other than Coronado's (such as DeSoto's).

you might want to.  I just pulled it up, but it looks like it could be of big help to you--at least for the backgroud information you need.

Choctaw, when you go back look for any symbols on the other side as well they may hold more pieces to the puzzle. If you find more symbols i'll be happy to give you my take on them if you like . "Spainard"

KGC Knights of the Golden Circle? I think Spainard has given you good advice choctaw the toe of one of those tracks is longer and curved and the track is going to the right "around the bend" that is its meaning! In my opinion the heart box is spanish and the tracks are native american spanish knew native symbols though and sometimes used them to confuse or mislead. Also they loved to one up native symbols or compete with them they were like present day gang taggers other gangs taggers would tag over or next to other taggers marks with their own work. The Spanish and Indians were enemys and they might have both had an interest in the same thing that they both knew was there. BA is right no way of knowing for sure unless you figure it out then you could enlighten us all! "If you so choose"! = ) Happy Hunting (Haven)

It makes sense theres a kings mine very close to that tree heart thats also why theres a Kings treasure (heart in a box) symbol they mined then cached the kings treasure (what they could not take with them) Look for the mine its there probably an animal living in there too! Look for an animal den that could be your mine or look for something that looks closed by human hands behind trees and bushes , thats a good place to look too! Did you get a picture of the heart on the tree? Also Choctaw there could be a smelter near by where they may have melted down the minerals it would look like an old round circle stone chimney on the ground probably mostly fallen down by now! You realize that for that to be possible that tree would have to be well over 300 years old, don't you?   There are very few trees in the entire state of Oklahoma that even approach that age.

The whole thing is laughable a sign of love by a lonely cowboy was mistaken for a possible KGC sign has turn into a Kings mine sign. Then people wonder why nobody takes this sign and marker stuff serious.

Choctaw ,BA The last expeditions of Spanish originating from Spain were 1750-1794 so 215-260 years old . Also some Spaniards stayed in the Americas and didnt return to Spain its rarely found recorded in historical records but the are some storys that supports these claims. Some were unable to return there were whole expeditions that went missing & were lost! Some of the spaniards must have survived to have new familys and children that they taught their ways to them. Its very possible they may have been passed down from generation to generation it could be 2nd or 3rd generation spanish from those members of those lost last expeditions who never make it back to Spain! They would have continued doing what they did best mining and taught their children as well! BA you have to admitt its not only possible but plausible human beings will adapt survive then thrive whenever given the smallest of chances. Could have been left by mexicans they adopted alot of the spanish symbols and methods in the absence of the spaniards it could easily be Mexicans that left the symbols! That is if tree its on doesn't look old enough! Food for thought (Haven) "how it could be possible in my opinion"
