Go Up Go Down

Hey every one, I'm a newbie to the form and i hope i don't type on any wrong toes. My question is, Has anybody come across any Spanish markings? I live in northern AZ  Flagstaff to exact and I believe I am on to a Spanish trail!. I have found carvings out of rocks, a Rabbit,  Hart , and  Bird . Plus carvings in trees or blaze markings. I have been following the trail for about two years and I think I might be getting Close!!! But that's what everyone says  Wise

Ucan

Let's apply a little common sense and logic here. The Spanish never left any markers are signs pointing at treasure would you? Why hide a old mine are treasure then leave a big bill board pointing at it? They did leave markers pointing out camp sites water holes and other things of use the them.
As for your so called signs with out pictures its hard to tell what your talking about but bet it can all be explained as natural rock formations.

Yes Photo's would be good.

Tree markings could mean little to nothing depending on the age of the tree.

Thanks Seldom for the input, But i think common sense tells me , If I were to Barry a treasurer and then leave it for the next two or even more years for the next relay team of soldiers to dig it up and move it to the next nearest location to the coast, or for shipment to the Queen I had better make sure the next party can find it. I know they weren't stupid people (the Spanish) and weren't going to leave obvious and blatant billboards for all to see. You also have to consider the time period, there weren't people out looking for treasure they were to busy trying to survive! and stay away from the Spanish so they too would not become enslaved. And as for the photos, As soon as i can i will post some of what i have, The S/S that i have come across and the  old ranchers i have talked to is to compelling for me to think that the Spaniards wouldn't  have a secondary markers just to make sure there head's stayed on top of there body's, But thanks anyhow  Fight

Maps may have been made for sure but nothing would have been left on the grounds.

 Shocked

Water Holes, Bush Food, Dead End not to walk up all may be marked.

Disagree Homefire with respect , You tell me that you could draw a map from half way round the world then give it to somebody after getting home from a six year trip and be confident that this bozo would be able to find it I DO'NT THINK SO! Haven't you ever plaid the game ware you sit in a circle with ten of your friends and say a short sentence and by the time it get's to the last person ti's all screwed up !  Can you imagine a six year trip, Even if it were on paper or skin. No Way DUDE! No no!

Yes I have played that game.   That is why there is a Map.  A Record.   Places People and things.   Things change on the Earth.   You can not count on a Tree being there in 6 or 10 years.

If they knew the would not be back for a long time they would have mapped it out and like the Cross it would have been gaurded O so well.

Any Marks left would have been Water, Trails or the like.    No Indications of what was there.

By the Way.    I'm not looking down at you , I just have a Openion like everyone else.

Been in the South West off and On more then a two third of my life this far. Just know what I think I have seen.

Sorry but that's not how it worked

100's if not 1000's of researchers have looked for any proof or documentation in both Mexico City and Madrid Spain that the Spanish ever used signs or markers of any kind none has been found. Why because there is none its all BS.

Frank Dobie in his book Coronado's Children add several pages of treasure signs that he had made up, 40 years later Robt Beil included the same signs in his book A Treasure Guide. Several writers in the 60's and 70's  took these signs and add more signs and markers to them wrote books and started a cult of folks to lazy to do some real research.

Before you get tied up in all the sign and markers crap you need to research the Spanish in the America what really happened not all the conspiracy crap the sign and marker guys want you to buy into.
