tortilla flats? i'm not seeing many tributaries off peter canyon creek that would match. i'd say placer is off la barge creek not as far southeast as charlebot spring

My first attempt at a guess, is it anywhere near the junction of Salt river and Black river??

Line up Quatro Picos (four peaks), Rio Salado (salt river), and Canyon de Fresca. What does fresca mean in Spanish? One of the maps told you to cross the river, go to Canyon de Fresca, and do what? Once you nail down the right canyon, its all easy from there. The placers are all marked by x's.

how many guesses can you take~i'm taking another~fish creek canyon looks real good.
placer location seems to be on the west/southwest base of fishcreek mountain.

33d 29.917' n ~ 111d 16.540' w ~ 2715' + or - a.s.l.

at the confluence of lost dutch spring & fish creek canyon.
