A friend recently told me of a spot in North Alabama where he found on top of a bluff, a indian tomahawk carved into the rock. It was wedged underneath a larger rock, so he couldn't remove it by himself. He said it was about 18" in length and even had the detail of strings attaching the head to the handle. Any idea what this may mean? Treasure sign? Someone extremely bored one day decided to carve this because he had nothing better to do? I hope to make it out to the site with him to check it out and get photos, as well as snoop around to see what else we may find.
