I am at a lost as what to tell you, Marius. I know of no treasure maps of the Romanian territory. I suggest you check older maps of the area and mark abandon home sites, millinery engagements, maybe old town sites. Not sure how your library/museum system works but that is the place to start.

Thank you seldom,
i have older maps wich i found on the net... its really hard to tell where city was exactly since old maps lets say from the 1500"s era are way off from todays maps... the only way to go and search is probably after looking for little clues like near by rivers or marked areas wich will help yoou identify some how the position. I found markings of cityes a hundred miles off todays markings on map...
There are treasure maps floating around but in the goverment ...and national bank level...can"t go that far...thats only for them...
I am a poor boy looking for clues...The information that came out only in the area where i"m living are burried a few hundred tons of treasure and that they say they know for sure because they have it documented...So the treasure is there for the most part ...
I appreciate your help seldom
regards
Marius

Marius I am not a big believer in treasure maps were X marks the spot but am a big believer in using maps to find treasure. Following old rivers and creeks looking for signs of human occupation is a place to start.

One thing for certain is if the map were genuine, when you got to the business end of the trail, you'd find where the treasure WAS, not where it IS. Do you understand what I'm getting at? A genuine map to treasure would have already led someone to it. Most of the so called treasure maps out there are commercial printings designed to make money for the publisher. I've seen a few in Lost Treasure Magazine by state or country where the map is a slanted bird's eye view with cartoons of treasure on them.

Some day, in an old attic, you may find a box with a piece of fragile cloth inside. On that cloth will be a hastily scribbled drawing and a note from the person who wrote it to his son telling him where he hid the family jewels as he fled from some long past danger. Now THAT, my friend, would be a treasure map worth having. When you're done with it, you could sell it.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
