Hi,

This 1,7 x 1,7 cm silvercoin I found in the near of my hometown. I like these mediaval coins with these funny faces.

It?s a ?Pfennig? from the town Regensburg, made between 1315-1374. The front shows an bishop with his typical hat.

Hi Mr Simpson

Very nice I'd love to find one of those but then this country is too young to have such old coins .Tell me what is the value of such a coin? And how did you find it also was there a market place in those days at that spot or do you think that it was just dropped on route to some where? May be there was a road there that could mean more coins especially if that road led to a market place or to a tavern  Wink

Regards Xavier
