Hi,

to start in this section i have a very nice 5th century germanic belt end ( in german it?s called Riemenzunge but i don?t know the exact english word for it )

It is 7,5 cm long, 5 cm wide and the diameter of the round part is 6,5 cm. It?s made out of silver and the front is covered with gold.

That's really cool! Was that dug out of the soil with a detector? If so, how deep was it? Thanks for sharing!

yes it was found with the detector ( XP Goldmaxx ). It was not so deep, round about 15 cm

Tha detail on that piece is so intricate.
