Go Up Go Down

From the land of the Bluenose...the internal time clock began it's droning monologue. "Get up you lazy coot the day is a wasting and it's time to go a digging." Couldn't shut it up so after a good 4 hours sleep it was time to hit the road. A short trip to the Bedford area and the digging began.

Pennies were a popping and to be honest this bouy was getting pretty worn out. Then out popped this little puppy and the energy was renewed.

Marked "Shipton" on the inside along with sterling.

I then tried the shore line which was pretty muddy with the clams spitting at me everytime I dug a hole in the toxic oooze not too mention that it smelt like a heavily used toilet bowl.

Here I hit a few coins, or should I say what was left of some coins that I could not identify! Maybe they were once large pennies but hard to tell.

Tried of the smell, tired due to lack of sleep and the old gullet screaming for some food (forgot to eat when I got up) I headed home with my pocket containing 131 coins @ $9.36, a few mystery coins and a silver ring!
