19/07/2012 In our damned Parliament was offered a project of the damned law about the prohibition of Any MD-action in Russia for the searching of treasure without licensing. In Belarus was prohibited action and selling. So, all that remain to us (officially) - only search any meteorites. It is very sad, that our hobby was prohibited... Sure, we will search the treasure continuously, but with caution... Angry

You have a lot of beaches if you can get to them , i think that banning something will just make things go underground .

Yes, sure, but any action on TH will be prohibited in my country soon too. So any way almost all TH-community in Russia will unite in the organization for meteorites searching. The hardness of our laws is compensated by bad exercising. I hope that not all is bad that its seemed.

My deepest sympathy goes out to your entire country. No one should be denied the opportuneity to to pull their countrys history out of the ground, or embark on an adventure to find hidden treasure, or even to look for loose change.

The license is for historian, who have 3 times practice in archaeological excavations. It is not very easy to trip to the official excavation, for example, I was only 2 times )) the process of cooperating is not easy, you right. But i believe that it is possible.

Great,
it is a way for fair hunters. The law is for reducing night hawking, I assume, and, if I watch you tube and .ru pages, massive and popular. This is a result. You cannot to do more, positive examples need to be in place, is my close note. Be strong and patient, and if you have a "club", support each other.

Best way is to volunteer your services to archaeological excavations .. search for them on the net and local papers/magazines get registered at the sites and you'll soon be getting that licence Kiss

(hopefully) ... there is always more than one way to find a treasure ... but sometimes you have to follow the rules for a couple of days. Wink
