ACE 250, Whites Prizm 4
« on: September 03, 2009, 07:07:40 am »
Go Up Go Down

me and my dad are upgrading. I have a ACE 250, and he has a whites Prizm 4. We both want something that will be steps above. Something that will go deeper, have manual, or auto ground balance, and work just as good in the wet saltly sand.

We hunt parks, schools, churches, ect. Thats where most of our time is spent. But we also go to the beach and hunt dry and wet sand, so need something that will be fine in the wet sand also.

Our limit is $1k each. We are pretty familiar with whites, so were looking at the 6T, MT, MXT, XLT. Are there any brands, that may be better at what we need it for? Or will any of these 4 be ok? My dad also likes the little screen and the VDI numbers and all of that stuff, so if another brand, it would need a display. ALSO, has to be easy to use and set-up. Lets say, the more turn on and go it is, the better.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

Hello Saltfisher: I am new at decting, i bought a minelab explorer ll has a lot of features. when i went to the beach it works great in wet sand. I even had coil under the salt water finding Quarters a foot or so deep. was kind of hard to keep sand out of hole in water. Dug Quarters almost 2 foot deep in wet & dry sand. Around 1k might find good used on ebay, or on sale at kellco. Works good in any soil ive tryed.
