Cool the more the better.   Wonder if the Prices are going to be above and beyond like most associated with Minelab ?

The Coiltek products here have a great name , especially concerning Minelab detectors , should see the same quality for the Whites range ..cheers Mick

Well I bought a 14x10 of theirs a couple of months ago and it cost me £99.99 or $123.98c USD or $161.98c AUD and it is half an ounce lighter than the factory 10" DD and a few inches deeper on small targets and I Air Tested it on Larger Items and it can see them between 8 to 10 Feet, Coke Cans at 4 feet etc etc

I was that impressed the first day I got back on the Phone and ordered another Right Away, and being a DD it handles the hotter ground Better and has since became My Everyday Coil, It is Light Powerful and covers the Ground better when Needed so I am Impressed,

RR

Dug that coil out .   I was Wrong.  It's made by     Detector  Technology out  Exmouth     AU.          I think now Defunct.   Says compatible with XT 17000.  That's a old VLF Minelab.  Eaaaa , So much for using it on a PI.

Because Coiltek and Detech have all bought new model Coils you can pick PI coils up pretty cheap now either new or second hand.

Fishing around that coil is for a machine  XL 17000 that runs 32Khz or 6.4Khz.   Don't know how they do that.  The two Freqs are not even Harmonically Related.

In later years that machine went on to become the "Eureka Gold" which runs at 6.4khz - 20khz and 60khz but they run best at about 20khz and loose depth when compared to the Whites GMT Goldmaster.

One coil measures 1.6 Ohms  other 35 Ohms I assume the Rx coil.  Tx coil must be just a few winding.  .03mH on Rx can't get a L reading on Tx.   Not any good to me for anything.  Know anyone who could us it ?
