In the days when I was a younger, people did not have access
to tools made for metal detecting. They made their own diggers
and other accessories.

I follow their lead. I made numerious diggers of different kinds.

I have it down to a modified short handle shovel, and a digger
I make out of socket wrench handles. The metal is very good for
digging.

I have nothing against Lashet diggers. Never used one, and can
not even spell it... lol

I am just one of the old guys,

Hay Mike,

I seem to get by with just about anything.

Everytime I see a cop or a maintenance guy,
I head over that way.

If they know me, they will head the other way
usually.

I talk their ear off until they have to make excuses
to get rid of me... lol

That is a good tool in an old farts arsenal... lol

They will let me do what ever I please.

Maybe it is different here.

Us old guys just ROCK {alt}

Happy Huntin,

tabdog
