Looking to verify the wiring on recently acquired detectors.
I want to exchange conversation and photos/wiring schematics.

Show me what you have and serial #'s to pinpoint mfg. dates.

Thanks in advance.

Coin hunter was TR only.  Before that they had a BFO Coin Hunter.
That the one your talking about ?

Seems they did have one VLF/TR controls on side.   Edited.

In 1976 they made a TR. In 1977 they made a vlf/tr. I have what I think is a mid year first release VLF only.

Notice that there is no vlf/tr/discrimination

Yes it does.

When I first contacted Garrett for help, The tech didn't recognize the serial# or VLF alone  until I sent this link:

I was able to contact Sandman and we had a good conversation but he was unwilling
to take his apart to provide pictures or give any other help.

I was fortunate enough to purchase a TR/VLF off of Craigslist that is due to arrive Friday.
I'll let you know more when I have an opportunity to take it apart and compare.

But I am still wanting help from someone who owns the VLF alone models.
Are any schematics available for these?

I have a few but don't think that one.  I'll look around.   Don't think that one made Full Production.  You may have a Odd Ball .

Not much to be had on those.   2Khz.   That's a bit low.
