hello ! question for all member , i own the SMPI and i wanna know if it's possible to replace it's coil with the "dual field coil" ? if yes : how ?

   Yes you can use a Dual Field on most any PI.  Dual Field was a Good Idea that just didn't pan out.  Your Detector can only work within the constraints of Inductance and Resistance it was designed for.  The Dual Field Idea was that the Larger Coil would detect the Deep larger targets while the Smaller the Smaller shallow Targets.  PROBLEM.  In order to keep within the lines of you machines Inductance / Resistance limits both coils in series need to meet those limits.  By splitting the Inductance between the two coils you also lower the Response/Sensitivity of each coil.  Now you have Two Coils with impaired performance.
