Hi Folks,

My uncle researched our family history. He wrote
a book which is published and part of the historical
archives in a town in Texas.

Here is two excerpts from tha book.

This is what my Great Grandmother told my Uncle
about her Grandfather. This story is backed up by
many different accounts of the story by others.

{alt}

She went on to say about her Uncle.

{alt}

Just think of all tha gold that may never have been
recovered after people died during tha war after they
had buried their gold.

All I gotta do is find tha right spot.....

Hi,
This is exactly why I want to learn the tricks of my detector and it's use.  I live on 5 acres
that include a site that was a post office and a courthous (folks were hung here).  So I'm
looking for goodies!  Oh, I live in NC!

Well heck,

I aint found any yet.

There was an old man who metal detected around Toad Suck Ferry.

People would burry their valuables and camp while waiting on the ferry.
"J" Hawkers would kill the people and take their belongings.

That old man found thousands of preshious items burried in the woods.

All the area has been distroyied by the Corp of Engineers when they
developed a barge navagation system on the Arkansas River back in
the 1960s.

I have unable to find any of it, Angry
