just picked up a fisher coinstrike recently and wanted to hear some thoughts on this detector. i haven't spent much time with this detector yet but i'm not so sure i like it so far. does it take several hours to learn this machine? thanks.......roger

Takes alot of time. Generall advice if vid is anywhere jumping into negqtive or more than 10 +- then dont dig.

I  mean,does it work without an audible Threshold Tone ,like the 1266?

yes it does. you can set the thresholds and bring it to near perfection.

This is a good detector but most do not spend enough time to learn it.  I didn't and sold mine after awhile.
