I was poking around after reading Eugene52 and his recent posts about metal detectors and found some stuff on Australian eBay which I found to be just amazing. I reported some LRL software in another post and now, here is one very cool detector for those who want to sit and drink a beer while your little detecting rover goes out and finds gold for you.

I suppose next you will need to go to Mars and get that digger NASA left up there.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hay Gold Digger,

I like my LRL a lot better because,

with the advancements in GPS

receivers and wireless technology, I

have been able to transmit wirelessly

for great distances.

Any metal detector will produce a

workable signal.

Both transmission and receiving

signals are transported, via GPS-r1

phase lyniayerd tracking processors.

I recently finished attaching my first

prototype.

It is mounted on a Silver Sabre uMax.

When I first turned it on,

It read " Heading = 219 degrees 43

minutes and 27.8623272 seconds"

With a distance reading of.............

" 214,493.76343282 feet "

{alt}

Well needless ta say, I jumped in

my car and ended up drivin fourty

two miles before I come up on this

one.

{alt}

Not a bad day detectin in Arkie Land,

Tabdog

Hello Tabdog and Everyone . LRL is a touchy subject with me , I listen , but I do not comment on LRL's . But looking at the photo I see that your prototype has possible tuned circuits or tuned cavities ......If it does work then you are more than welcome to start a new post in the LRL section about the specifications , coordinates and what you can find with this prototype . Thank-You for posting the photo and information !!!! Me personally , I am a believer in proton or fluxgate magnetometers . Because of all the recent mining surveys I have read , with actual Grid/Plot reading variations , some are government reports and some are geologist / contractor reports . I am just now starting to learn a lot about magnetometer theory and projects . Thanks again Tabdog , Good work so-far on the Forum !!!
HH ............Regards..........Eugene

I guess I should stay away from tha
LRL and whitchin stuff.

I am not a believer, or a non-believer.
With LRL and whitching stuff, who am
I to say.

I only like to comment on what I think I
know. (not much) Wise

It is just a hobby to me. Detecting

I poke fun, and it is usually taken as
such. Crazy

Sometimes it offends. Idea

Believe me, it aint tha first I stuck my

paw in my mouth{alt}

I been makin a fool of myself for a
while now, Funny and have grown old
enough to appreciate it, even if others
do not agree with it sometimes.. Angry

No offence intended, Waveing

I think tabdog made a circle.... surveyed in a circle? That can happen in the woods/brush.

tabdog, you have been calculating with the wrong set of figures. If LRL works, do not deny them their right to be quirky. I could say more, but I better leave it alone, I dont want to be an enabler.

That car's cute, but I've got an even better method. I just give the detector to my wife and let her find the stuff while I drink the beer!

Well, that's the theory. I suggested the other day that she could be my 'digger'. I'm recovering though...
