Knowledge is a lot in this hobby, and probably one of the most powerful asset in it as well.  I'm starting to learn a lot, by you and by reading other things.

Aha! I have a question now.  I heard this, but have not seen a lot about it though.

Is it true that different brands of detectors work better in different soil conditions? For example, my area is mainly just clay, good ol' clay.
