Hi Folks,

I did a post on tha GPS forum, but this
is not yur everday geocashing type of
use, and it's more about data cashing.

My automobile GPS unit has a large data
base with parks, swim beaches, schools
and so on.

When I go some where, I hit search. I
search for points of interest near me. I
find all kinds of hunting spots I never
knew existed.

Try it, you'll like it,

Tabdog

tabdog-
You are a genius, thanks for the tip!

I've got 3 GPS units, active; the only one I can try that with is my new Garmin lap-top unit...
I haven't even set it up, yet, its so new!

The other two, both Magellan but diff models, are straight Lat/Lon, waypoint stuff, one has maps,  the old one is just utilitarian and neither do that kind of thing.

Again, nice tip.
Brian AKA goldigger (help, I've fallen on my GPS....)

Great tip! Now all I gotta do is get myself a GPS. I've been wanting one for years. All the more reason to pick one up now!
