Have you tried here? There is a map of sorts overlain on an aerial photograph. Plus some nice panoramic shots although they are distance shots.

I have those photo's and a pile more.  Some Movies too.    Using the Mtn's in the back ground I found some cool spots.   Google Earth shows a pile of the old roads and ground disturbances.

Have you tried old railroad maps? They go back over 150 years or so and are archived in the Library of Congress in digital format. I use them a lot and find old New England ghost towns. Most of those are along abandoned RR rights of way. TONS of finds always result when I find one of those.

Good Idea.   one of the spur lines is still in use that bordered the camp to the East and was used to hall wood and materials from the Mountains North.   There were some service tracks on camp to move stuff around.  Wonder if they would show up ?

The railroad maps that I personally find to be the best, most accurate and most inclusive are the insurance maps. They sometimes had aerial photographs inserted into the edges of the image for reference. They had to be accurate should there be a claim.

   Yea, Sanborn did not have anything on it.    I have the deming maps and they just mention a water line going that way.
