The PI 1000 is a TH dream, if it is in good condition. I looked for one for many years before I found one. Te great thing about this detector is that the metal signals are clicks rather than a tone. If you tune it right and listen hard, you can pick up targets easily that other units will miss. The only draw back is that no one repairs them, so be careful
